My Family

I have been blessed with 5 wonderful children and the most supportive husband ever known to man.  My first four children:  Kylie (age 12), Bailey (age 11), Brady (age 9), and Avery (age 7) are from a previous marriage.  I had 4 children within 6 years and lost my mind, but found my heart!  Their father, Jeremy, is an outstanding father and we are all blessed to have him in our lives.  My children rule my world!  They give my life meaning and purpose.  There are no words to describe how deep my love for them goes.

After my divorce, I met my husband, Corey.  We were married on June 23, 2006 and had a baby girl, Natalie (age 10 months) on June 26, 2008.  She has completed our family and been one of our greatest joys.  Words fail me when it comes to writing a snippet of what Corey means to me.  The best I can do is state that he is my lifeline.  Without sounding corny, and with all sincerity, he completes me in every way.  I never believed in soul mates until he came into my life.  Without him, I would be lost.  He keeps me focused, talks me off my ledge on a daily basis, and inspires me to be a better person each and every day.

I have two very successful brothers, Bradley (age 31) and Christopher (age 29).  They both work in the restaurant/bar industry in Illinois and make me proud to call them my brothers!   We have been with each other through thick and thin, and life would not be as colorful or rich without them in my life.  They made growing up fun, interesting, and bearable!

My brother, Bradley, gave me the most adorable niece, Alex (age 17 months)…or Olunia-her Polish name- on November 27, 2007.  She is my Goddaughter and lights up our world!  Her smile is so infectious and life would not be the same without her.  She is truly a gift from God, and before she came into this world, I never knew it was possible to love a child as much as you love your own kids.  I now know it is!

I have an outstanding father, Jeff, who is the most selfless man I know.  Since the day he came into my life, he has loved me unconditionally, even when there was a time I could not say the same about my love for him.  Thankfully, he stuck with our family  and never bailed on us when so many others did.  I could not be more blessed than to have him as our father.

Last, but never least, is the backbone of our family…and the most amazing woman I know… my mother, Vickey.  She has taught me everything I know about self-sacrifice and parenting.  She is the epitome of a stay-at-home mom who has never given her job a second thought.  She inspires me to be a better mom, wife, and woman.  I never knew what she had really done for us until I became a parent myself and all I can say now is, “Thank you mom!”
